These 3-hour floats run from roughly 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, taking full advantage of the magic hour when the sun begins to dip and the big fish come out to feed. Whether you’re tossing dry flies to rising trout or stripping big streamers through the low light, this is one of the best times to be on the water — and more often than not, you’ll have the quality water nearly to yourself.
Evening floats are a great standalone option or a perfect way to cap off your day. We’ll cover about three miles of productive trout water, with golden hour light, cooler temps, and often spectacular sunset views over the canyon. This is one of our favorite ways to experience the San Juan — calm, quiet, and filled with opportunity.
